How it works
Tide plus Febreze Freshness contains new renewing scent technology which releases on motion. This provides bursts of freshness in your fabrics all day long.
Like regular Tide, Tide plus Febreze Freshness contains surfactants. Surfactant molecules have two parts. One is "water loving" and the other is "water hating." The water-loving (hydrophilic) part breaks the surface tension of water. The water-hating (hydrophobic) part is attracted to oil and grease in soils, loosening and removing them from fabrics. Detergents usually contain more than one type of surfactant to address the needs of removing certain types of soils and cleaning different types of fabrics.

This product gives you the same cleaning power you expect from Tide, but with an added freshness benefit. In addition to targeting and helping to remove tough odors, Tide plus Febreze Freshness offers improved freshness that lasts all day long.
What is the ingredient that makes Tide plus Febreze Freshness special?

Will Tide plus Febreze Freshness clean as well as regular Tide?
Both products provide excellent cleaning and stain removal.
How can I get more loads out of the same size bottle with the same number of ounces as before?
Tide plus Febreze Freshness is about 20% more concentrated than before. So you get the same great cleaning performance as before, but with more loads per bottle.
The cap looks taller, is it?
Yes the cap is slightly taller on the Tide plus Febreze Freshness bottles. Consumers told us that the fill lines in the measuring cap are difficult to see. So we re-designed it so that the fill lines are more obvious and easier to read. In the process, the cap was made slightly taller.
Do your scents match the Febreze scents? The Downy & Bounce scents?
"Spring and Renewal" Tide perfume has some of the same scent characters as the Febreze Downy and Bounce scents.
It looks like my Tide plus Febreze Freshness has white specks (particles, beads, etc).
We would not expect to see white specks in the product however under certain conditions it may be possible that they could appear; the cleaning performance and long lasting freshness would not be affected.
What is the Acti-Lift formula?
Our Acti-Lift formula is designed with ingredients to help provide deep cleaning of fibers, break-up dry stains, and provide a whiteness boost. Soon, you will find it in place of your current Tide when you shop.
Will Acti-Lift technology be too harsh on my clothes?
No. Like all Tide products the Acti-Lift formula is extensively tested to ensure that it’s safe for all machine-washable fabrics.
Can I use Acti-Lift in HE machines?
Yes, there will be HE versions of many of your favorite Tide varieties including Tide with Bleach Alternative, Tide Coldwater, Tide with a Touch of Downy, Tide plus Febreze Freshness, and Tide plus Febreze Freshness Sport.
Can Acti-Lift be used with laundry additives – bleach, laundry boosters (Tide Stain Release, etc)?
Yes, Acti-Lift can be used with laundry additives such as bleach and laundry boosters. As always, be sure to read instructions before using additional products.
Can Acti-Lift be used for colors and whites?
Absolutely; Acti-Lift is suited for both.
Can I use Acti-Lift on all types of material/clothing?
Acti-Lift can be used on all washable fabrics. As always, for best results, please be sure to read you garments care label instructions.
